SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 14 – Crystal Williams
watched her child S.T. being
tasered by NYPD officers at 40
Brighton Avenue, Staten
Island, NY. She
sued.
On December 14, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Sidney H. Stein held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Talk
turned to body camera footage,
which the City's lawyer said
made them likely to move for
summary judgment.
Judge
Stein noted that video is
usually subject to
interpretation and thus, a
jury question.
The next
conference is set for March 17
at 10 am.
The case is
S.T. et al v. City of New York
et al., 21-cv-2248 (Stein)
