SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 27 – Mariano Castaneda
Rivera sued H&H Bagels of
526 Columbus Avenue for not
paying overtime or minimum
wage.
On
December 22, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Sidney H. Stein held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
complaint alleged that H&H
Bagels subtracted from
employees' paychecks thirty
minute meal breaks that were
never taken.
Judge Stein ruled
that discovery must be
completed by April 4, with a
pre-trial conference set for
4:30 pm on that day.
The case is
Castaneda Rivera et al v.
Columbus Bakery LLC et al.,
21-cv-3195 (Stein)
