SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 21 – Cable First
Construction sued Lepetiuk
Engineering Corp for blowing
up its deal with Cablevision
in The Bronx by "installing
damaged fiber optic
cables."
On
November 19, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alvin K. Hellerstein held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The two
sides lawyer were each
complaining about the other's
compliance with discovery.
A demand was made
to see tax returns, to see if
the company was working for
others at the same time. Judge
Hellerstein denied it.
Judge Hellerstein
diagnosed that he did not
thing this was near
settlement, and that he would
keep a close watch.
The case is
Cable First Construction Inc.
et al v. Lepetiuk Engineering
Corp. et al., 20-cv-6679
