SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 3 – Silviano Christman
sued the Department of
Corrections after he was
assaulted by Corrections
Officers then collapsed in his
cell, smashed his nose on the
toilet and was left
there.
On February 3, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Vernon S. Broderick held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Broderick asked if the City's
Law Department had been named
as a defendant, since they
appeared as an "Interested
Party."
No,
was the answer.
The case is
Christman v. Department of
Corrections et al., 21-cv-2730
(Broderick)
