SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 20 – Felix
Valerio-Rodriguez pleaded
guilty to drug charged in
2012. Now in 2021 he's been
charged with violating his
Supervised Release.
On
April 20, 2021, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge P.
Kevin Castel held a change of
plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
At one point
Judge Castel asked the
defendant if he wanted to
plead guilty, or wanted a
hearing.
He seemed to
answer, A hearing. Judge
Castel asked the defense how
then to proceed.
It was
smoothed over, patiently, and
the plea accepted. The
sentencing is set for June 23.
The case is
US v. Valerio-Rodriguez,
12-cr-79 (Castel)
