SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 11 – Benjamin Deitsch sued
TransUnion and JPMorgan Chase
Bank for injuring him with
false credit reports.
On January 11 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Paul A. Engelmayer held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Engelmayer asked about the
difference between a consumer
contesting a credit reporter's
report, and contesting the
underlying charge.
The parties asked
for a jury trial - it could
take a while - and agreed that
discovery will run through
June 25, 2021.
The case is
Deitsch v. TransUnion, LLC et
al., 20-cv-9322 (Engelmayer)
