SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 6 – Unisys Corporation
hired CopyWatch Inc to help it
save money by auditing its
copy contractors costs.
CopyWatch says they saved
Unisys $4 million but didn't
get paid. They
sued.
On January 6, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Paul G. Gardephe held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
CopyWatch's contract and
lawsuit is based on quantum
meruit: how much it is
worth. But it never got paid
$1.3 million is says it is
due.
Judge
Gardephe gave the parties 30
days to exchange documents -
copies? - with an eye toward
settlement.
If they do
not settle in that time, he
will set a Case Management
Plan, he said.
The case is
CopyWatch, Inc. v. Unisys
Corporation, 21-cv-7386
(Gardephe)
