Craven Sues NYPD For Discriminating
Against Him As Victim of Domestic Violence

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 17 – William Craven
has sued the City of New York
for have been discriminated
against within the New York
Police Department as a victim
of domestic violence, his
lawsuit
says.
On June 17, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
It was in
October 2016 that William
Craven got a restraining order
in relation to a domestic
incident in which he was the
victim.
NYPD put
him on modified duty when the
mother of his child got a
cross-restraining order.
Now he
wants $1 million on each of 11
counts.
The City wants to
move to dismiss.
The case is
Craven v. City of New York et
al., 20-cv-8464 (Ramos)
