After Cooperator Describes 100 Robberies and Live Streamed Miami Assault Pabon Convicted

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC-Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN NY Mag

SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 11 – Christian Pabon has been charged with murder in aid of racketeering.

On May 3, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Sidney H. Stein presided over Pabon's trial. Inner City Press covered it.

On the witness stand was a cooperator facing a 37 year mandatory minimum unless he gets a 5K1 letter from the US Attorney's Office.

The cooperator described taking part in hundreds of robberies, of a man with his eye burned with a cigarette, of ordering up a live streamed assault in Miami.

In the gallery were, presumably, Pabon's supporters. One laughed when Pabon's defense attorney demanded of the cooperators, Do you understand me now?

On May 11 the announcement of the conviction of Pabon  a/k/a “Banga,” of racketeering conspiracy and murder in aid of racketeering.  The unanimous jury convicted PABON of all counts presented to the jury.

The case is US v. Pabon, 18-cr-319 (Stein)
