SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 27 – Tom Simeo is
charged civilly by the SEC for
false statements while he was
CFO of Viking Energy Group. He
is representing himself pro
se.
On October
23 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John P. Cronan, who now
has the case, held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
At issue is
when Simeo will start making
the escrow payments he has
committed to.
He blames his
delay on the COVID pandemic.
He signed that Guangfang
"Cecile" Yang was Viking's
CFO.
Things seem to be
moving toward a motion for
summary judgment by the SEC.
The case is
Securities and Exchange
Commission v. Simeo,
19-cv-8621 (Cronan)
