SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 29 – Kevin Haynes
was on parole after a felony
conviction for attempted
robbery when, on October 20,
2019 his Parole Officer found
a .38 revolver without a
serial number under his
mattress.
On July 29 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge George B Daniels held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Haynes and his
attorney Scott B. Tulman had
come to enter a guilty plea.
AUSA Sarah Mortazavi was
there, was was Probation
Officer Matthew Omlar.
Back on
January 9, AUSA Mortazavi had
told Judge Daniels her Office
would produce discovery that
month, and that Tulman "has
indicated there are no motions
to make."
And so it was.
Sentencing was set for
December 9.
The case is US v.
Haynes, 20-cr-00005 (Daniels)
