SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 6 – BSG Resources
(Guinea) sued George Soros and
the Open Society Foundations,
in the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York.
Then no one
reported it.
On July 28,
SDNY Judge John F. Keenan held
a proceeding in the case.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The
original lawsuit asserted that
"Soros has spend untold
millions fabricating a
positive public image for
himself and the organizations
he controls. Yet in reality
Soros is a racketeer
billionaire who acts in utter
disregard of the rule of law
and the rights of others."
Then it zeroed in
on what it described as Soros'
predatory moves on an iron ore
mine in the Simandou mountain
range in Guinea.
On July
28, Judge Keenan urges that a
motion be finalized on October
13.
He said he could
then decided it on the papers,
but if requested will grant
oral argument.
Now this
has been filed, with one other
publication citing Beny
Steinmetz belatedly covering
it: "DECLARATION of Benjamin
P. McCallen in Support re:
[170] MOTION to Dismiss
Amended Complaint.. Document
filed by Alliance for Open
Society International, Inc.,
Foundation to Promote Open
Society, Open Society

Center, George Soros.

Inner City Press
will continue to follow this
case.
It is BSG
Resources (Guinea) Limited et
al v. Soros et al., 17-cv-2726
