SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 27 – Bryant Brown is
charged in connection with the
killing of Albendris Nunez, a
marijuana dealer, during a
robbery near Devoe Park in The
Bronx on December 20,
2015.
On January
27 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Paul A. Engelmayer held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Back in
January 2020 Federal Defenders
made a recommendation
regarding the appointmetn of
learned counsel - the death
penalty was on the
table.
Now on January
27, 2021 the discussion was of
suppression of evidence. Judge
Engelmayer ordered that any
motion to suppress must be
filed by February 17, with a
jury trial scheduled for June
21.
The case is US v.
Brown, 20-cr-12 (Engelmayer)
