Wins ERISA Default in SDNY

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 14 – The Carpenters Union
sued Minelli Construction for
not paying into their pension
fund while working on
LaGuardia Community College in
Long Island City, Queens.
On December
14 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Minelli
Construction was served,
through the Secretary of
State, on August 10.
Then it was asked
to show cause - but it did not
show up.
Now a default
judgment has been entered
57,136.02, including $5,049 in
attorneys fees.
The case is
