SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 5 – H&W Deli Grocery
and its owned Pedro Santana
have been sued. For a hearing
on whether their attorneys can
drop them, they had to retain
an
interpreter.
On December 4 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Woods explained patiently the
rule that a corporation must
be represented by a lawyer.
Santana spoke through his
interpreter about trying to
put together some money.
The case is
Taveras v. H & W Deli
Grocery, Inc. et al.,
19-cv-5750 (Woods)
