SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 9 – Verragio LTD says its
jewelry designs have been
stolen by WalMart and M&K
Association - so it has
sued.
On December 9
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Amid numerous
requests to seal documents in
the case, the talk turned to
when a trial would be.
It was pushed
back from January 11, 2021 to
March 15.
On December 9,
Judge Woods was talking about
a list of trial approved for
the first quarter, the
precautions in the large
courtroom (where this week he
heard an in-person habeus
corpus petition), and the
possibilities of bench trials
of them type his colleague
Judge Jesse M. Furman is
holding this week.
This case is
Verragio, LTD. v. Walmart
Stores, Inc. et al.,
18-cv-10620 (Woods)
