SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 8 – Charles Stetson
has been sued for in his role
as General Partner of
Fairfield Investors II LP
"raiding the limited
partnership's coffers to
support his personal political
and religious causes and
profligate
spending."
The
plaintiffs include Peter
Stetson and Katherine Stetson,
and Anna, Nathan and Jason
Yovu - Charles'
grandchildren.
On November
6, 2020 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lewis J. Liman
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
"religious cause," it emerges,
involves teaching the Bible in
public schools. Stetson loaned
the organization Essentials in
Education $700,000.
Judge
Liman listened, and set
another conference for the
16th at 2 pm.
The case is
Stetson et al v. Stetson,
20-cv-7002 (Liman)
