SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 9 – Triumf Hyseni worked
as a server at Zia Maria
Little Italy restaurant at 138
Mulberry Street, until he
complained about his wage.
Then he was fired. He
sued.
On November 9, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Mary Kay Vyskocil held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
One
question was whether Zia Maria
meets the $500,000 threshhold
for Federal jurisdiction. The
plaintiffs allege it received
"multiple PPP loans from the
SBA."
The case is
Hyseni v. Zia Maria Little
Italy Inc. et al., 21-cv-6318
(Vyskocil)
