SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 9 – Kelving Hernandez is
seeking an end to supervised
release, after a conviction on
drug distribution charges.
On May 9,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Richard M. Berman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Some opposition
to ending supervision was
expressed, as well as concern
that none of the forfeiture
had been paid.
Judge Berman said
this is often negotiated
between the parties; the
response was to refer to the
Financial Litigation Unit. A
next proceeding was set for
June 13.
The case is US v.
Hernandez, 16-cr-500 (Berman)
