SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 19 – Keith Carlson was an
executive at Northwell Health
until, in his mid-50s, he was
fired. He
sued.
On
September 28 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Denise L. Cote held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The issue
arose whether the defendants'
deposition of Carlson will be
in person. He wants it
virtual.
But the defense
argued that he is saying he
wants a job, today, in the
health care industry,
presumably in-person.
The defense
lawyer said on the day of
deposition they will empty out
their office, and only use a
vaccinated court
reporter.
Judge Cote agreed
that it should be in-person.
The case is
Carlson v. Northwell Health
Inc., 20-cv-9852 (Cote)
