SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 14 – Kevan Seales was
charged with being a felon in
possession of a firearm: a
black .38 caliber Colt
revolver.
On February 12, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Paul A. Engelmayer held a
change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
There was talk about a lawyer
appearing as a cat on another
platform (CourtCall does not
allow for filters); there was
talk of a Federal Defender
switching places with the
judge.
Then Seales
pleaded guilty to count 1.
Sentencing was set for May 26.
The case is US v.
Seales, 20-cr-359 (Engelmayer)
