SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 24 –
Christopher Clark was up for
sentencing on drug and guns
charges after being arrested
in the course of trying to
maintain residence on a futon
when permission was revoked.
Crack was
found.
On March 24, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alvin K. Broderick held his
sentencing. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
Assistant US Attorney
emphasized that Clark had also
been arrested for assault.
Judge Hellerstein
asked Clark about it and Clark
said it had been an argument.
He had been selling tickets by
the Staten Island Ferry, not
to the Ferry but another boat.
He was challenged and
fisticuffs and an arrest
ensued.
Judge
Hellerstein praised much about
Clark but said he had to
learn. He imposed a sentence
of 25 months.
The case is US v.
Clark, 21-cr-732 (Hellerstein)
