SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 6 – Okeifa John is
charged with being a felon in
possession of a firearm, to
wit, a 9 millimeter SCCY CPX-2
pistol.
On July 6,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Ramos
asked about discovery.
The defense asked
for 30 to 45 days to review it
and consider a disposition.
Judge Ramos
set the next conference for
August 10 and when asked, said
he takes his own pleas. If it
comes to that.
The case is US v.
John, 20-cr-477 (Ramos)
