SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 11 – Venus By Maria
Tash, a jewelry business, sued
Cyprus-based Prinatrium LTD
for violating its copyrights.
On May 11, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lorna G.
Schofield scheduled a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
But the
defendants did not appear.
Judge Schofield's deputy said
their failure to appear would
be conveyed to Judge
Schofield, who was then
presiding over the US Airways
v. Sabre antitrust trial.
The plaintiff's
counsel asked if that meant
that default will be granted.
The case is Venus
By Maria Tash, Inc. v.
Prinatriam Ltd et al.,
21-cv-2098 (Schofield)
