SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 13 – The Perfect Bar and
its website PerfectSnacks.com
have been sued under the
Americans With Disabilities
Act. Their lawyer calls it a
copycat suit.
On December
11, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Gregory H. Woods
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Woods asked the plaintiff's
lawyer if he had told the
defendant what is wrong with
its website. Not yet.
The defendant
said it might be the visually
impaired plaintiff's
"hardware" that was the
problem.
He said
some software can't tell the
difference between a daffodil
and a drop-down box.
The case is
Paguada v. Perfect Bar, LLC,
20-cv-7161 (Woods)
