SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 12 – Svetlana Reznik
who works at Coney Island
Hospital sued Lincoln Life
& Annuity Company under
ERISA for refusal to pay on
her insurance policy, despite
a finding by the Social
Security Administration that
she is disabled.
On
November 12 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The parties
said it would be decided on
the ERISA administrative
record, if it is not settled.
Judge Liman
agreed to put off filing the
case management plan, and also
did not for now formally refer
the parties to mediation. He
said he would for now wait to
be informed if they settle.
The case is
Reznik v. Lincoln Life &
Annuity Company of New York,
20-cv-6547 (Liman)
