SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 16 – US Probation
said it understood that
Christopher Morales wanted to
visit his wife and child on
Long Island. But it also
sought to limit his movements
to exclude Long Island.
On May 16, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lorna G.
Schofield held a sentencing.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Probation said it wanted six
months incarceration. But
Morales Federal Defendant said
that would undermine the
relationship.
Judge Schofield
agreed, saying no
incarceration but three more
years of supervised release,
with travel OK-ed to EDNY.
The case is
US v. Morales, 20-cr-496
(Schofield)
