SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 18 – Ideavillage
Products Corp sued Antiker,
ABCHouse
and others for violation of
copyright.
On January 18, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Mary Kay Vyskocil held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Vyskocil asked the plaintiff's
lawyer how she expected a
preliminary injunction if she
didn't even allege sufficient
contacts to New York by the
defendants.
The answer was
that discovery would be
needed. But had anything been
done, to request information
from the third party servers?
A New York State
case was cited and Judge
Vyskocil said she would read
it and then rule.
The case is
IdeaVillage Products Corp. v.
Antiker et al., 20-cv-4681
(Vyskocil)
