SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 3 – Tiger
Contracting Corp. at 3805
Broadway in Astoria, Queens
has been sued by a union's
trustees, for an audit and
more.
On November 3 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Tiger
Contracting, as before, did
not show up. Judge Cronan
asked the plaintiffs' lawyer
how she got the address - from
the Local, was the answer -
and how long she has practices
this kind of law. Long enough
to justify $250 an hour.
Judge
Cronan approved the fees but
said that a new proposed
default judgment should be
submitted, on damages.
The case is
Trustees of the Drywall Tapers
and Pointers Local Union 1974
Benefit Funds et al v. Tiger
Contracting Corp., 21-cv-5248
(Cronan)
