SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 9 – Anton King was
sentenced to ten years
imprisonment then five years
of supervised release in a
drug case in 2011. Now he is
out and working with the
prospective of early
termination of supervised
release.
On June 8,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Richard M. Berman
held a supervision proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The
Probation Officer, sworn in,
said King is doing well. King
himself described a family
member's health improving, and
said he loves his work.
Judge Berman said supervision
might be terminated early in
2023, and set a next
conference for September 28.
The case is US v.
King, 11-cr-182 (Berman)
