SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 2 – Vincent Fyfe engaged
in union fraud at Local 2D of
the UFCW - then turned
cooperator. Many of the
documents were sealed.
On
February 2, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge Jed
S. Rakoff held a sentencing.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Fyfe was
rewarded for his cooperation:
one year probation, no jail
time.
But also,
there was relief under the
Labor Management Reporting and
Disclosure Act of 1959, to
allow Fyfe to work as a
business consultant.
The case is US v.
Fyfe, 16-cr-583 (Rakoff)
