SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 10 -- Timothy McCaffrey
sued Gatekeeper USA, which
says it develops proprietary
security devices to prevent
maritime terrorism.
On May 10, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Vernon S.
Broderick held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
McCaffrey's
complaint says that Gatekeeper
did not, in fact, security a
single government or private
contract, despite its
claims.
The case has been
pending since 2014. Judge
Broderick said there is a May
15 - or May 16 - deadline to
put in for trials in the third
quarter.
He asked for a
joint letter before then
proposed trial dates in July,
August or September.
The case is
McCaffrey v. Gatekeeper USA,
Inc., et al., 14-cv-493
