SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 4 – Zoilo Taveras has
been charged with illegal
entry of the United
States.
On
March 4, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Paul A.
Engelmayer held a change of
plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Taveras had
earlier tried to dismiss the
indictment, in a memo with
redactions.
That failed, but
he remains out on bond pending
sentencing.
The case is US v.
Taveras, 20-cr-240
(Engelmayer)
