SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 17 – The lawsuit against
Mike Pompeo's Commission on
Unalienable Rights was sued by
a slew of human rights groups.
On February 17 the case was
dismissed as
moot.
On February
17, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John G. Koeltl held
the proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Koeltl noted that new
Secretary of State Antony
Blinken has disavowed the
Commission.
In the record is
a declaration from career
Foreign Service offered Duncan
Walker, that the Commission
terminated on January 14,
2021, and that all FACA
materials were released.
The case is, or
was, Robert F. Kennedy Center
For Justice And Human Rights
et al v. Pompeo et al.,
20-cv-2002 (Koeltl)
