SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 17 – Holders of Sky
Solar's ADRs, after consulting
a Cayman Islands attorney,
sued for deficient disclosures
in Schedule 13E-3 merger
documents. Now they want to
settle.
On
November 17, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Liman
asked questions, and expressed
doubt whether such settlements
might given an incentive for
unmeritorious claims to be
filed.
But he said this
might not be the right case to
pursue that, and wished the
parties luck with the merger.
The case is
Quadre Investments L.P. v. Sky
Solar Holdings, Ltd. et al.,
20-cv-5551 (Liman)
