SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 8 – Angelique Olaechea has
sued NYPD for retaliating
against her for helping
another officer, Javier
Valasquez, file a
discrimination claim.
On May
7, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Ronnie Abrams
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The trial planned
for January was adjourned.
Judge Abrams explained the
committee protocol, and said
in the past month she has held
a civil trial, and a criminal
one (that of Michael Hild of
LiveWell Financial, which
Inner City Press also
covered).
This case is
Olaechea v. City Of New York,
et al., 17-cv-4797 (Abrams)
