SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 21 – Phil Neuman sued
Global Security Solutions and
Werner Hallmann for slandering
him to business partners,
saying that Neuman was a
"serial fraudster" whose home
was in
foreclosure.
On October 21 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Denise L. Cote held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Plaintiff's
lawyer did not call in for the
first ten minutes. When he
did, he said he on vacation in
Mexico and that the conference
was not on his
calendar.
Judge Cote asked,
But are you prepared to go
forward now?
The lawyer
replied that he could "wing
it" but would rather prepare.
In January
2022, Judge Cote received
letters on January 5, 7 10 and
12 and scheduled a conference
for January 21.
The case is
Neuman v. Global Security
Solutions, Inc. et al.,
21-cv-1670 (Cote)
