SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 21 – Paul Gerrard was a 52
year old bus driver for Boston
Coach based in Astoria, Queens
when he was not accommodated
while suffering from cancer
and disability. He sued.
On February
19, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John G. Koeltl held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Gerrard
"did not consider comments by
management 'neutral, teasing
or off-color," but rather
discriminatory and
job-threatening.
Judge Koeltl said
that defendant's motion to
dismiss is due March 19,
response April 20 and reply
May 7.
The case is
Gerrard v. Dav El/Boston Coach
et al., 20-cv-10049 (Koeltl)
