Duo Accused of Armed Robberies Want Access to Jury Wheel Info Like Balde In SDNY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Nov 22 – Thomas Baker and two others are charged with conspiracy to committed armed robberies of businesses in Brooklyn and The Bronx.

On November 20, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Beginning back in June, the defendants in the case have been asking to inspect the records and paper use in connection with the constitution of the Master and Qualified Jury Wheels.

Since then, the issue has been developed through the US v. Balde case before Judge Failla; defendant Joshua Schulte has made a motion to dismiss his post-mistrial indictment on this basis.

In this case, Judge Gardephe on November 20 granted defendants' motion to inspect the Jury Wheel records.

The case is US v. Baker et al., 20-cr-288 (Liman)
