Carpenter Sued New World Design For Race Discrimination Now Case Is Over After Offer

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY, March 22 – Antonio Sanders sued New World Design Build Inc and "Robert [Last Name Unknown]" for racial discrimination.

On December 9, 2021 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John P. Cronan held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Sanders is a carpenter and worked on a couple of defendants' NYC job sites. Then he was called the N-word.   Now one of the defendants is also better know.

Judge Cronan on December 9 ordered that "Robert [Last Name Unknown]" be changed in the caption to "Robert Bulo."

That is in the public docket. Now this, from Robert Bulo: "I came across your article and noticed that you mention my name involved in a lawsuit... Your article is innacurate and defamatory towards me, and makes it sound like I am racist which I am not. Please get your facts straight.  I am married to a black woman and have bi-racial kids.  This article is innacurate and damaging and needs to be removed immediately.   Defamation of character is a very serious issue and I've asked for legal help.       Robert Bulo  New World Design Build, Inc 11 Circle Avenue Clifton, New Jersey 07011"

Hopefully the legal help will explain that what is in a public court docket is public, and about SLAPP suits.

Continuing apace, Inner City Press on March 22, 2022 reported this: "The above captioned matter having been satisfied pursuant to the terms of an accepted Rule 68 Offer of Judgment and judgment having been entered against New World Design Build, Inc. and such judgment satisfied, Plaintiff hereby dismisses with prejudice all claims as against all individual defendants, John Farese, George Bardis, Robert Bulo, and Jose Alduvi Pacheco. THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the within matter is hereby dismissed with prejudice as to John Farese, George Bardis, Robert Bulo, and Jose Alduvi Pacheco and a Warrant for Satisfaction as to the judgment against New World Design Build, Inc. is entered into the record. SO ORDERED. John Farese, Jose Alduvi Pacheco, George Bardis and Robert Bulo terminated., Motions terminated: [60] JOINT LETTER MOTION for Leave to File Order of Dismissal and Warrant of Satisfaction addressed to Judge John P. Cronan from Jack Baldini, Esq. dated March 22, 2022. filed by George Bardis, John Farese, Jose Alduvi Pacheco, Robert Bulo, New World Design Build, Inc."

The case is  Sanders v. New World Design Build, Inc. et al., 19-cv-1071 (Cronan)
