SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 20 – Victoria Dieuy Ho
and two others are charged
with fraudulently seeking
Paycheck Protection Program
loans for Victoria's Day Spa
& Nails 2000 Inc.
The case
is assigned to U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni, who on
June 16 set an in-person
status conference in the case
for July 8 at 11 am.
Victoria
Ho's lawyer on June 16 wrote
to Judge Caproni and said "Ms.
Ho has not been vaccinated
[REDACTED]... Ms. Ho is
prepared to waive her
appearance at this status
conference."
Judge
Caproni has responded into the
docket, "There is no need for
Ms. Ho to waive her appearance
at the status conference.
Absent unusual circumstances,
the Court expects criminal
Defendants to attend all
proceedings. Not being
vaccinated is not an unusual
circumstance." Inner City
Press is tracking this and
other cases.
This case is US
v. Nguyen, et al., 21-cr-403
