SDNY No Show So Default Looms

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 22 – AptDeco with a
flagship store on 57th Street
in Manhattan sells furniture.
It also does not pay minimum
wage or overtime, according to
workers.
Nor does it show
up in Federal court when
sued.
On February
22 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
AptDeco did not show up.
Judge Koeltl
directed the plaintiffs to
file an Order to Show Cause
for a Default Judgment against
the corporate defendant within
14 days.
The case is Ashton, et al. v.
Aptdeco, Inc. et al.,
20-cv-9865 (Koeltl)
