SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 24 – The Keith Haring
Foundation has sued to enforce
its / Haring's trademark
against Gin & Tonic LLC,
which it has previously
licensed to use Haring's art
on "lounge pants, underwear,
socks and robes."
On June 24
a proceeding was held before
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Debra C.
Freeman. Inner City Press

Reference
was made to a parallel state
case, Gin&Tonic LCC v.
Keith Haring Studio, LCC and
Artestar, LLC, Index No.
650985/2020 in NYS Supreme
Court, New York County.
Judge Freeman
asked the parties to consider
whether they want to proceed
in this way, with two cases.
