SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 3 – Scott Chmela sued
Toll Brothers Real Estate for
an injury while working at 77
Charleston Street in New York
City on November 25, 2019.
Then Toll
Brothers sued The Travelers
Indemnity of Connecticut for
coverage.
On June 3, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press went and covered
it.
The dispute has
been about the proximate cause
of the injury. The parties
said they were settling the
case. Fine, Judge Hellerstein
said, I'll enter a thirty day
order.
They pushed back
for sixty days and got it.
The case is Toll
Brothers Inc. et al v. The
Travelers Indemnity of
Connecticut, 21-cv-5297
(Hellerstein)
