SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 29 – Sogou, China's fourth
largest Internet company, has
been sued for fraud and is
settling.
On
November 25 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The parties
are working on a public notice
of the settlement. Judge Liman
asked about particular
paragraphs he said could be
improved, for example on
opt-out.
The case is Luo
v. Sogou Inc. et al.,
19-cv-230 (Liman)
