SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 23 –
Awilda Rios sued Micmac
Records, Phase One Network,
Frank Babar and others - but
most of the documents are
sealed.
On March 23, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Alison J. Nathan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
A
complaint was made about
earlier proceedings in state
court; a schedule to brief a
motion for remand was
established; the TRO will be
extended.
A bond was
requested, of $150,000.
Clients will be asked. But the
mass-sealing of most documents
in the case has not yet been
addressed.
The case
is Rios et al v. Micmac
Records, Inc. et al.,
22-cv-2008 (Nathan)
