SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 2 – Julio Rosario is
charged with illegal re-entry
of the US after being
convicted of a
felony.
On
November 2 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Denise L. Cote
held a change of counsel
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Cote agreed
to the switch of lawyers, from
a Federal Defender to a CJA -
but, she said, the trial date
of January 24 stands. The
indictment has no fewer than
15 a/k/a's.
