SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 27 – LG Capital Funding,
LCC sued Microelectronics
Technology Co. over a
convertible promissory note.
But Microelectronics
Technology never showed up.
On June
25, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Valerie E.
Caproni held a proceeding.
Inner City Press called in to
cover it.
Judge
Caproni asked who had just
called in, and Inner City
Press identified itself. Must
be slow day in the Press Row,
Judge Caproni said. Inner City
Press noted that the US v.
Calk trial, with Anthony
Scaramucci as tenant, was not
meeting on Friday, after
Anthony Scaramucci testified.
That should keep
you busy, Judge Caproni
remarked.
It was
confirmed that the defendants
had not called in. Judge
Caproni granted a default
judgment for $247,000, with
attorneys' fees of $3,975.
The case is LG
Capital Funding, LCC v.
Microelectronics Technology
Co., 21-cv-1624
(Caproni)
