SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 23 – For a home invasion
that included pointing a gun
at a baby's head, Dennis Furse
was sentenced to 137 months in
prison in 2015.
On March
23, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Paul A. Engelmayer
held a Davis re-sentencing.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge Engelmayer
reminded Fulse that he had
called his acts "evil" in
2015. (The transcript shows he
said "it's horrifying.. And,
to put it very bluntly, it's
evil...You three put a gun to
the head of a
baby."
But time has
passed, and Fulse has taken
classes.
Judge Engelmayer
resentenced him to 107 months,
and three years Supervised
Release: a release of 30 month
imprisonment and two years of
supervision.
Judge
Engelmayer told him to use it,
wind at this back.
The case is US v.
Furse, 14-cr-332 (Engelmayer)
