SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 11 – Lei Gao sued Kerry
Nails Salon for Fair Labor
Standards Act violations. That
was in 2018.
On May 11, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Paul G.
Gardephe held a scheduled
final pre-trial conference.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge
Gardephe said he understood
that the defendant has gone
through significant financial
difficulties. He urged the
parties to settle, or to agree
to a trial before the
magistrate Judge.
A
request was made for he as
District Judge to conduct a
settlement conference.
The case is Gao
et al v. Kerry Nails Salon
Corporation et al.,
18-cv-10448 (Gardephe)
